Police Arrests two Accused

LUDHIANA: Police have arrested two accused in the case of murder of money exchanger near Ludhiana Model Village. The arrested accused includes a woman. The police have also recovered an amount of around Rs 35 lakh from their possession. 

As per reports, one more accused named Jobanpreet is yet to be arrested in the case. Commissioner of Police Ludhiana confirmed this and said that a conspiracy was made to carry out this incident in the month of February itself.

It is worth mentioning here that money exchanger and shoe businessman Manjit Singh was murdered in broad daylight in Ludhiana city. According to the information received, businessman Manjit Singh was going to his house through Jagraon Bridge in his Swift car. The robbers started chasing him from Jagraon Bridge. 

Notably, the robbers carried out the incident at a distance from the police station Kochhar Market and left the Activa about a thousand meters away from there and fled in a Swift car.
