'Guru Nanak's Mantra is a Solution to Social Ills': President Murmu at GNDU

President Droupadi Murmu called upon the youth to follow the path shown by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in her address at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) today.

She invoked the core tenets of ‘Naam Jappo, Kirt Karo, and Vand Chhako’ and emphasised that these teachings of meditation, honest labour, and sharing are essential for a balanced society.

President Murmu said that the message of universal brotherhood and the spirit of service (Sewa) are the greatest gifts of this land to the world. 

She highlighted that the university, named after the first Sikh Guru, has a responsibility to instill these values of equality and character-building in its students.
