Lawrence Bishnoi denies involvement in Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case, claims to be innocent
Lawrence Bishnoi has claimed to be innocent and denied any conflict with the slain singer.
Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case: In a major development in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, the statement of the main accused gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has surfaced online in which he claimed to be innocent and even denied any conflict with the slain singer. In his statement, filed in Mansa court, Lawrence Bishnoi stated that the "accused/applicant has been falsely implicated in the been aforesaid later on case, although the accused/applicant has not committed any alleged crime."
The statement further added that "the accused/ applicant was not even present at the time and place of the alleged occurrence rather the accused/applicant was already confined in Jail on the date of the murder of the deceased Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu."
It further stated that "the accused/applicant is also not a resident of Village Moosawala and the accused/applicant has no enmity or ill will with the deceased and further there is also no record on file that the accused/applicant demanded any ransom from the deceased Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu and further Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu also never lodged any complaint with the police or any authority against the accused/applicant regarding the demand of ransom from him by the accused/ applicant and the entire allegations by the complainant that the son of the complainant was receiving the different gangster threats for ransom from groups including Lawrence Bishnoi Group, are false, vague and without any basis."
It also stated that "the accused/applicant has been arrested in the present case through production warrants from the jail and further no mobile phone or any other incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of the accused/applicant at the time of his arrest in the present case."
"That as per the police investigation, the accused/applicant allegedly disclosed that he got conducted "RAIKI" (ENQUIRY) about Shubhdeep Singh from Manmohan Singh and arranged the stay of the shooters in the house of Manmohan Singh alias Mohna and the entire planning was told to Manmohan Singh but there is nothing on file to show that the accused/applicant ever came into contact with Manmohan Singh @ Mohna since the date of the arrest of the accused/applicant much less immediately before the date of the alleged occurrence and there is also no phone call details regarding the contact by the accused/ applicant with said Manmohan Singh @ Mohna while as a matter of fact, the accused/ applicant is already in custody for a sufficiently long time before the date of the alleged occurrence," it added.
Lawrence Bishnoi's statement, in Sidhu Moosewala's murder case, added, "There is no direct evidence to connect the accused/ applicant file to with commission of the alleged crime and to frame charges against the accused/applicant in the present case."
It further wrote, "There is also no evidence came on file to show that the accused/ applicant had hatched any conspiracy for murdering the deceased Sidhu Moosewala and how he allegedly hatched the conspiracy and nothing on file to show further that the accused/ applicant shared common intention with the co-accused implicated in the aforesaid case for the commission of the alleged crime. As such no charge can be framed against the accused/applicant."
