Aam Aadmi Party's Harmeet Singh Sandhu has won the Tarn Taran Assembly bypoll in Punjab, securing 42,649 votes.

Aam Aadmi Party’s Harmeet Singh Sandhu has won the Tarn Taran Assembly bypoll in Punjab, securing 42,649 votes.

Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa from the Shiromani Akali Dal stood second with 30,558 votes. In third place, Waris Punjab De’s Mandeep Singh Khalsa received 19,620 votes.

Congress candidate Karanbir Singh came fourth with 15,078 votes. BJP’s Harjit Singh Sandh stood fifth with 6,239 votes. Notably, after this by-election victory, the Aam Aadmi Party’s tally has now reached 94 seats.
