3 Members of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Arrested

Sri Muktsar Sahib: Rajasthan Police arrested three activists of Lawrence gang including a Punjabi and recovered 12 kg of heroin from their possession. The police have also recovered two motorcycles from the accused. One accused of them is absconding.

Sriganganagar senior police officer, Paris Deshmukh said that BSF (34th Battalion) Post 41 PS was informed about heroin smugglers at Sameja Kothi police station. After this, a joint search operation was conducted by police and BSF jawans, CID and District Special Team. Four suspects riding on two motorcycles were stopped at around 3:30 am.

The accused have been identified as Surinder alias Sonu, Kuldeep Singh alias Sandeep alias Pahlwan (Ajnala) and Puneet Kajla.

Apart from 12 kg of heroin, two motorcycles have been recovered from the arrested accused. The investigation so far has revealed that the said drug trafficking racket is being run by Sunil Yadav alias Golu, who is the active member of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Sunil Yadav alias Golu along with Ankit Bhadu killed Pankaj Soni in 2017. Lawrence Bishnoi's goons work with Pakistani smugglers. Lawrence Bishnoi will also be questioned in this case by the Police.
