Punjab Govt orders Transfers of 16 IAS & 3 PCS Officers 

CHANDIGARH (Bhullar): In a major reshuffle, Punjab government has ordered the transfers of 16 Senior IAS officers and 3 PCS officers with immediate effect. According to the transfer orders issued by the Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua after the approval of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, after withdrawing other departments including Information and Public Relations Department from Officer Rahul Bhandari, he is being posted as Principal Resident Commissioner Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi. IAS officer Malwinder Singh Jaggi, who is serving as the Chief Officer of Water Supply and Sewerage Board, has now been appointed Secretary of Information and Public Relations Department in place of Rahul Bhandari. He has worked in this department before.

Among other major transfers, IAS Among the officers, P Srivasta has been replaced by Additional Chief Secretary, Freedom Fighters Department, Anurag Agarwal as Additional Chief Secretary cum Finance Commissioner, Cooperation, Elections and Medical Education, Vivek Pratap Singh as Principal Secretary, Local Bodies along with Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare, V.K. Meena has been posted as Principal Secretary Printing and Stationery Development and Garg as Principal Secretary Transport along with Finance Commissioner Forest and Wildlife Department.

SS Gurjar has been appointed Principal Secretary Agriculture, Horticulture and Water and Land, Gurkirat Kirpal Singh as Secretary Food and Civil Supplies Tourism and Cultural Affairs and Mining, Ms. Ritu Agarwal as Secretary Cooperation, Arshdeep Singh Thind as Secretary Agriculture and Horticulture, Pradeep Kumar Agarwal is MD Punjab Health Corporation and Puneet Goyal have been posted as Special Secretary Home and Justice and Controller Printing and Stationery.
