DERA BASSI: In a noteworthy feat, Tejinder Kaur, a resident of Isapur village in Dera Bassi, has brought honor and distinction to her family and community by passing the prestigious Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) examination. Tejinder's father, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in the Punjab Police, and her family members, many of whom are in influential positions, have been a guiding force throughout her journey.

Tejinder Kaur's family has a rich tradition of public service, boasting several members who have excelled in the Punjab Civil Services (PCS) and the medical profession. Her uncles, Kuldeep Singh and Kulwant Singh, have held esteemed positions as District Development and Panchayat Officers (DDPOs). Dr. Jaspreet Kaur and Dr. Gurpreet Singh are also part of this accomplished joint family, contributing significantly as DDPOs and PCMS (Punjab Civil Medical Services) officers. The supportive and encouraging environment within her family played a pivotal role in Tejinder's success.

At the age of 23, Tejinder Kaur secured an impressive total of 472.5 marks across various subjects in the Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) examination. She completed her 12th grade education from Sukhmani School and pursued LLB from a private college. Tejinder, expressing her joy and gratitude, emphasized her satisfaction in overcoming the challenges of hailing from a modest village and succeeding in the rigorous PCS examination.
