MOHALI: Jailed former minister Sunder Sham Arora has got a big relief from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. According to information, the High Court has granted interim bail to the Minister in connection with the Gulmohar township land transfer Scam case. 

Notably, Former minister Arora was in Jail in the Gulmohar township land transfer case. Arora has also got relief in the bribery case. On January 5, an FIR was registered against him. 

It is worth mentioning here that the Punjab Vigilance Bureau had registered a criminal case against former Congress minister Sundar Sham Arora and 10 government employees for fraudulently transferring industrial land to a real estate company.

It is alleged that in connivance, the plot allotted for the industry was transferred against the code of conduct to the real estate company Gulmohar City. The case was registered after the investigation report of the Forensic Science Laboratory.
