Chandigarh: To mark its 100th Foundation Day on December 24, the Shiromani Akali Dal organized Sri Akhand Path Sahib at Sri Guru Darbar Sahib complex on Saturday. The bhog ceremony will take place on December 14.

Meanwhile, the Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal and former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal visited and offered prayers at Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) on Saturday.

Sri Akhand Path Sahib at Sri Guru Darbar Sahib complex has been organised to mark its 100th Foundation Day of Shiromani Akali Dal on December 24.

After paying obeisance at Golden Temple, Sukhbir Singh Badal said that, “Unfortunate that Centre’s trying to stifle the voices, instead of listening to them. Farmers don’t want Farm Laws 2020.”

“Centre is trying to defame agitation by calling it that of Khalistanis and political parties. Unfortunate that if one disagrees with the government they call them anti-nationals,” he stated.
