Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth Visits Flood-Affected Border Villages, Amritsar News: Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth today visited the flood-affected villages of Motla, Nipal, and Bhindisaida in Punjab’s Amritsar district, located along the India–Pakistan border. He was accompanied by Amritsar BJP Rural District President Ampal Singh Boni Ajnala.

During his visit to the Rajasanasi constituency villages, Minister Seth traveled by boat to review the situation and directly listened to the difficulties of farmers and villagers.

He said,  “Prime Minister Modi’s vision is to bring prosperity to Punjab. There will be no shortage of funds for relief and rehabilitation.”
Sanjay Seth also saluted the Army and BSF personnel who stood firm during the floods.

He stated, “On behalf of 1.4 billion Indians, we salute the Indian Army. Since the day the floods began, soldiers have been working day and night in the service of the people.”

The Minister also mentioned that he would review the BSF posts along the border that were damaged due to the floods.
