Chandigarh: The cases of coronavirus are increasing day by day in Punjab. Under this, 77 new cases of corona have been confirmed in the state in the last 24 hours and at the same time four people have lost their lives due to this epidemic. Since then, the death toll from the corona virus in the state has risen to 62.

Three more people were killed in Amritsar on Thursday. Two other persons, aged 63 and 70, including a 62-year-old woman, were killed in 14 new cases in the district, including two BSF personnel.

The highest number of 19 cases was registered in Pathankot on Thursday, including a 25-year-old woman and her six- and three-year-old daughters.

Apart from this, six cases have been reported in Sangrur, four in Rupnagar and Patiala, three in Mohali and Jalandhar, two in Moga Nawanshahr, Fazilka and Tarn Taran and one each in Bathinda, Gurdaspur and Muktsar.
