Punjab Latest News: In a momentous gathering at the Punjab Raj Bhavan, visionary leaders, intellectuals, and academic stalwarts are converging to breathe life into the aspirations of a developed India. 'Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of Youth,' a grand event scheduled for Monday, December 11, promises to be a catalyst for shaping the nation's future. More than 40 Vice Chancellors, Heads of Institutions, and over 300 Principals are expected to participate in this landmark event.

Virtual Launch by Honorable Prime Minister

The highlight of the event is the first-ever virtual launch of the 'Viksit Bharat@2047 Ideas Portal' by the Honorable Prime Minister of India. Following the launch, the Prime Minister will join the event virtually to address a distinguished gathering of academicians, intellectuals, and youth assembled both at the Punjab Raj Bhavan and other Raj Bhawans across the country.

National and State-Level Programs

The event will feature a National Level Program followed by a State Level Program, including a panel discussion and a question-answer session. The discussions will revolve around three pivotal topics: 'Empowered Indians,' 'Good Governance & Security,' and 'Engaging Youth for Transformed India: Approaches & Insights.' Eminent academicians will share their expertise and insights during these engaging sessions.

Moderating the discussions will be Shri K.B.S. Sidhu IAS, former Special Chief Secretary Punjab. The program will witness esteemed panelists, including Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor of Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof. Jai Gauri Shankar, Director IISER, Mohali, and other notable figures from premier institutions like IIT Ropar, IIM Amritsar, and AIIMS Bathinda.

Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT, Chandigarh, will deliver a special address, urging the youth of the state to contribute their visions for a developed India. The event aims to foster a collective dream of 'Viksit Bharat@2047,' realizing the shared aspirations of the nation.
