Chandigarh: The Punjab School Education Department today started the final phase of Punjab Achievement Survey (PAS) in which the students are showing great enthusiasm. The survey is being conducted to assess the learning outcomes of students in government and government aided schools.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab school education department, the survey of students from primary to senior secondary classes started today on November 11 and the survey of primary classes would continue till November 17.

According to the spokesperson, the students are showing great enthusiasm in the last round of survey. Buddy groups are especially helping students who do not have a mobile phone.
For this phase the teachers also encouraged the students to join the survey by going door to door. As per the directions of Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla, the first phase of the survey was started on 21th September.
According to the spokesperson, this survey would enhance the understanding of the students about the competitive examinations and would lead to a qualitative change in education.
He said that most of the questions are being asked in an objective type, which would sharp the thinking ability of the students. In addition, it will also improve the skills of the students, and will be very useful for their future.
