Spokesman News Service: Chandigarh, November 11: The Government agencies and private millers have procured 138.97 LMT of Paddy in Punjab till November 10. Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman of the Government of Punjab informed that out of the total procurement from various procurement centres in the State, the Government agencies procured approximately 138.09 LMT of paddy while 87696 MT has been procured by the millers.
Giving the details, the spokesman said that PUNGRAIN has procured 47.86 LMT, MARKFED 31.99 LMT and PUNSUP procured 28.48 LMT while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) and Punjab Agro Foodgrains Corporation(PAFC) procured 13.12 LMT and 14.45 LMT paddy respectively. The Centre government agency FCI has procured 217185 MT paddy.
