AMRITSAR: A harrowing incident has shaken Muchhal village of Tangra near Amritsar, where a 16-year-old girl, missing from her home for two days, returned home only to face a tragic fate. Her father, reportedly consumed by anger and suspicion about her character, ended her life abruptly. The father, now on the run, took the girl's life without uttering a word, then proceeded to tie her lifeless body to his motorcycle, parading it around the village before attempting to dispose of it on the railway tracks. Local authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the heart-wrenching incident.

The village was gripped by anxiety as the young girl remained unaccounted for over the course of two days. Despite desperate searches, her whereabouts remained a mystery until she unexpectedly returned home during the afternoon. Tragically, her enraged father, armed with a sharp weapon, allegedly took her life. Shocked villagers witnessed this horrifying act unfold before their eyes, with the entire sequence captured on CCTV cameras.

Notably, Concerned citizens promptly alerted the police about the incident. The mother of the deceased has recounted the painful experience, sharing that her daughter's return was met with aggression from her father, who violently dragged her outside by her hair. Without explanation, he disappeared with his daughter, leaving the distraught mother clueless about their whereabouts and the impending tragedy took place.
