CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on April 11 paid obeisance at Sri Anandpur Sahib on the occasion of Prakash Purab of the ninth Guru, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. He paid obeisance here at Gurdwara Gurudwara Guru Ka Mahal. On the occasion of Prakash Purab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has dedicated the Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Museum to the Sikhs.

Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister wrote, "It was an honor to inaugurate a museum dedicated to the life of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, a unique example of self-sacrifice and sacrifice for the sake of religion, at Sri Anandpur Sahib...Thank you very much to Guru Sahib for this service on my part. I….This museum will be a precious treasure for our future generations…”.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister also reviewed the ongoing development works of Panj Pyare Park being built at Sri Anandpur Sahib. In his address on this occasion, he said that the trees and plants being planted in the park are all those which are mentioned in Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

CM Bhagwant Mann said that the area from Ropar Chamkaur Sahib to Sri Anandpur Sahib will be developed from the point of view of tourism in such a way that tourists visit and stay here. He said that tourists and pilgrims visiting religious places like Kullu Manali, Mata Naina Devi etc. in Himachal will be attracted towards the holy land of Khalsa.
