Punjab Logs 72 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Today, Most Cases in Mohali
No of Active Cases has reached to 636
MOHALI: Punjab state is witnessing rapid spread of Coronavirus. Out of the 1119 samples taken in the past, 72 people have been tested positive. The health department collected 1242 samples across the state and sent for testing. The number of active cases has reached 636.
13 patients in the state are of level-2 and 3. A Level-3 patient is in critical condition in Jalandhar who has been admitted to the ICU. The remaining 12 are on oxygen support. The one whose condition is critical is suffering from many diseases including diabetes, hypertension.
Mohali remains at the top in terms of Corona cases. 78 samples were sent from Mohali for testing. Out of which 18 new positive cases have been reported. There has been a decrease in the number of coronavirus cases in Jalandhar. 208 samples were sent for testing in Jalandhar. Out of these, only 3 samples have tested to be positive.
