JL Oswal Group to Invest Rs 1,550 Crore in Punjab, 4,000 Jobs Expected

The JL Oswal Group plans to invest about Rs 1,550 crore in Punjab over the next three years, according to Industries, Commerce and Investment Promotion Minister Sanjeev Arora.

The proposed investment will cover several sectors, including digital infrastructure, textiles, industrial parks, hospitality, garment manufacturing and renewable energy.

Arora said the investment proposal comes after the introduction of the Punjab Industrial and Business Development Policy 2026, which aims to attract new industrial projects and strengthen the state’s business ecosystem.

He added that the planned projects are expected to generate more than 4,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities in the coming years.

The minister said the investment reflects growing industry confidence in Punjab’s improving business environment and investor-friendly policies.
