Back To History, Nishan Sahib's Colour at Sri Akal Takht Sahib Changed From Kesari to Basanti
After the Sri Akal Takht Sahib issued directives, the SGPC issued a circular on July 26.
Punjab Nishan Sahib Color Latest News Today: Following an Ardaas this morning in the Golden Temple, the color of the Nishan Sahib, dedicated to Miri-Piri near Shri Akal Takht Sahib, has been changed from saffron color to Basanti color.
In line with the decision taken by the Jathedars of five Takhts, the color of all Nishan Sahibs coming under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) is being changed one by one.
After the Sri Akal Takht Sahib issued directives, the SGPC issued a circular on July 26.
There are also orders for Sikh preachers to create awareness among the Sangat and Gurdwara management about the Sikh Rehat Maryada.
