Charan Kaur on Sidhu Moosewala's Viral AI Image Tampering Turban: Charan Kaur, the mother of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has voiced strong condemnation over the use of AI to alter her son’s image. In an emotional Instagram post, she criticized individuals who have manipulated pictures of Moosewala by digitally removing his turban, a sacred symbol in Sikhism.
She wrote, “If you can’t achieve equality, then start defaming! When my son spoke the truth from the stage, many disagreed, but he never backed down. Today, you’ve crossed a line by disrespecting not only his turban but our entire culture.”
Kaur urged people to use AI for constructive purposes rather than causing pain. “Let this be a warning—any further tampering with Sidhu’s images will be met with strict action. He honored his turban while alive, and we expect that respect to continue.”
Her statement follows the circulation of AI-edited photos online that sparked outrage among fans and community members.
