The Police Recovered 25 grams of Heroin & 230 Drug Pills from two Drug Smugglers

JALANDHAR: Jalandhar Rural Police has cracked down on drug traffickers. The police have arrested four drug smugglers from different locations. Reportedly, Heroin, drug pills, drug money worth Rs. 20,500 have also been recovered from their possession. The police have also seized the car and motorcycle of the arrested smugglers.

Staff police station Bilga has arrested two youths who used to smuggle heroin in an Alto car number PB-20C-6060. DSP Phillaur, Jagdish Raj said that ASI Anwar Masih of Bilga police station was on patrol towards Sangowal. They witnessed a car and on the basis of suspicion, the staff stopped the car and searched Satveer, a resident of Sangowal. 11 grams of heroin was recovered from his left pocket. Drug money worth Rs 20,500 has also been recovered from Satveer, which he had brought by selling drugs. 136 drug pills were recovered from Satveer's partner Surinder alias Shindi resident of Sangowal.

The police of Jandu Singha police station under Staff District Jalandhar have recovered 25 grams of heroin and 230 drug pills from two drug smugglers. Giving information, DSP Sarabjit Roy said that ASI Paramjit Singh, in-charge of the police post, along with the staff had blockaded Y Point. He witnessed a motorcycle number PB-08 EC-0186 which were trying to escape. While running away, the motorcycle-riding youths took out polythene envelopes from their pockets and threw them away. The police chased and arrested both Krishna and Lovepreet alias Sukha. 25 grams of heroin and 230 drug pills have been recovered from their possession.
