Punjab Road Accident News: In a heartbreaking incident near the village of Bhumbli in Gurdaspur Punjab, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Punjab Police, Jagdish Singh, lost his life in a fatal road accident involving a collision between a motorcycle and his car.

On December 5, ASI Jagdish Singh, who was on duty at Bidhipur Hitech Naka Police District Batala, met with the unfortunate accident. As per the complaint filed by Balkar Singh, the brother of the deceased ASI, Jagdish Singh was en route to his duty station in his Alto car. The tragic collision occurred a short distance from the petrol pump in the village of Bhumbli.

According to the complaint, a motorcycle driven by Jagdeep Singh, a resident of Kangh, approached from the front. Allegedly, Jagdeep Singh recklessly maneuvered his motorcycle from the wrong side, colliding with ASI Jagdish Singh's car. In an attempt to avoid the collision, Jagdish Singh's car veered off course and collided with a tree, resulting in serious injuries to the ASI.

Despite prompt intervention, Jagdish Singh succumbed to his injuries while being transported to Civil Hospital. The loss of the seasoned officer has left the Punjab Police fraternity and the community in mourning. Promptly responding to the incident, the Tibber police station has registered a case against Jagdeep Singh, the motorcycle driver, based on the complaint filed by Balkar Singh. The case cites reckless driving as a contributing factor in the tragic demise of ASI Jagdish Singh.
