Punjab DGP Sumedh Saini booked in a 29-year-old case

Chandigarh: A case has been registered against former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini. According to information received, Sumedh Singh Saini was trying to reach Himachal this morning but was turned away by the Himachal Police as he did not had the valid pass.

The case was registered under Sections 364 (kidnapping or abduction in order to murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence), 344 (wrongful confinement), 330 (voluntarily causing hurt to exhort confession) and 120 (B) (criminal conspiracy).
