Corona virus continues to plague Chandigarh. Nine new cases of corona have been reported here today.

Chandigarh: Corona virus continues to plague Chandigarh. Nine new cases of corona have been reported here today. Out of these, 7 new cases have come to light from Bapu Dham Colony, after which the entire area has become a hotspot for Corona virus. In addition, one person came positive from Sector 30B and one from Dhanas.

Earlier, five cases were registered in Bapu Dham Colony on Saturday involving a 17-year-old boy, a 43-year-old man, a 15-year-old boy, a 23-year-old youth and a 13-year-old girl.

It may be mention here that the information received shows that there is 21 patients in the city who have recovered from the virus and have now been discharged from the hospital.

In addition, one person has died here. The 8th week of the lockdown saw a sharp rise in corona cases. There were 56 cases on April 28 and today i.e on May 5, the number has risen to 111. Similarly, 42,836 people have been infected with the corona virus in the country so far in which 1389 people have died.
