BSF & Punjab Police Recovers Heroin

TARN TARAN: The Punjab Police and the Border Security Forces in a joint operation have recovered heroin from Mehndipur village of Tarn Taran located at the India-Pakistan border in Punjab. The heroin was packed in 5 bottles. 

The BSF patrol team recovered Heroin during the raid. After which, they immediately informed the higher authorities. According to the BSF, the seized heroin weighted approx 2.638 kg. According to the sources, Pakistani smugglers sent this heroin to Punjab due to the proximity of the border area. Currently, the area is sealed and a search operation is being conducted.
