Attack on Youth at Chandigarh Petrol Pump

CHANDIGARH: A Shocking incident unfolded late at night when a group of 10 to 15 unidentified assailants viciously attacked a young man with knives at a petrol pump in Chandigarh's Sector-38. The victim sustained severe injuries in the brutal assault, prompting a swift response from the police, who rushed to the scene. The injured young man has since been admitted to PGI Hospital in Chandigarh for urgent medical treatment.

The victim has been identified as Bunty, a 35-year-old resident of Dadumajra. The entire attack was captured on the petrol pump's CCTV cameras, which are now crucial in helping law enforcement identify the attackers responsible for this horrific crime.

Family members of the victim have stated that Bunty had no known enmity with anyone. He had simply gone to the petrol pump to refuel his vehicle when the assailants suddenly launched their ruthless attack. In the assault, he sustained knife wounds to his waist, stomach, legs, and hands. The stab wound to his stomach has particularly left him in critical condition.

In response to the incident, the police have launched an intensive investigation, conducting raids and gathering evidence. They have obtained crucial CCTV footage from the petrol pump to aid in identifying the culprits. However, as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the attack. Police authorities revealed that they executed nighttime raids on the residences of several individuals believed to be involved in the attack. Unfortunately, none of the identified suspects were present at their homes during the police operation.
