In a breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab has arrested two members of the 'Ashish Chopra Gang'.
The arrested accused have been identified as Rashpal @ Sewak and Rajiv @ Jassa — from Ferozepur, and police have recovered 205 grams of heroin from their possession.
The Anti-Gangster Task Force made the arrests in a joint operation with Ferozepur Police.
As per the preliminary investigation, the arrested accused were in contact with a person named Yuvi, a shooter of the Ashish Chopra Gang, wanted in the Ashu Monga murder case (May 2025), Director General of Police, Punjab - Gaurav Yadav said.
An FIR has been registered at Sadar police station, Ferozepur and further investigation is underway.
