A man has reportedly been murdered in Varnala village in the Khemkaran constituency, in Tarn Taran district in Punjab, over a dispute related to shared farmland.
The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh, also known as Gopi, son of Bohar Singh, a resident of Varnala village.
The victim died on the way to the hospital after his windpipe was severed due to a knife injury to the throat.
