Punjab Weather July 3: IMD Chandigarh Issues Yellow Alerts for Several Districts
Punjab Weather Updates Today: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Chandigarh, has issued yellow alerts for three districts of Punjab for July 3, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and other adverse weather conditions.

Districts Under Yellow Alert (July 3): Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, and Rupnagar. No warnings have been issued for the remaining districts in southwest Punjab for today.

Punjab Weather Forecast for July 4 and 5:
There are no alerts for any districts in Punjab on July 4 and 5 as of the latest updates.
However, this is expected to change on July 6 for the eastern districts of Punjab, while weather conditions are likely to remain the same in the western districts with no alerts. The weather is expected to remain partially cloudy throughout the week.

Weather Observed in the Past 24 Hours (as of July 3):
Today, on July 3, a rise of 1.3°C was observed in the average minimum temperature compared to the previous day, bringing it 1.9°C above normal levels across the state.
The lowest minimum temperature of 23.4°C was recorded at Saleran (AWS), Hoshiarpur. Hoshiarpur (AWS) also recorded the highest rainfall at 21.0 mm.

July 2 Observed Daytime Temperature:
On July 2, the Sirsa weather station recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 37.4°C (reported at 5:30 PM).
The lowest daytime temperature was reported from Narnaul (Mahendragarh) at 32.6°C.
Compared to the previous day, there was a rise of 2.9°C in the average maximum temperature on July 2, which was near normal.
