Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann Focused to Integrate Punjabi Language into AI

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's government has launched a significant initiative aimed at elevating the Punjabi language on an international scale. The government is making focused efforts to integrate Punjabi into artificial intelligence (AI) systems, which is expected to create new employment opportunities for the youth of Punjab.

The Chief Minister emphasized that incorporating Punjabi into AI technology will open up a range of job prospects in fields connected to the language. He highlighted the government's previous steps, such as mandating the use of Punjabi on signboards and ensuring that the names of major brand showrooms are displayed in Punjabi, which has helped foster a stronger connection between children and the language.

CM Mann further stated that the government has taken measures to ensure that signboards outside government and non-government buildings, as well as commercial and educational institutions, are written in Punjabi. While the government respects other languages, Mann stressed that giving top priority to Punjabi is a collective responsibility.

The Chief Minister also mentioned that the spread of the Punjabi language through AI would not only promote cultural identity but would also contribute to the development of infrastructure in Punjab. This project, which includes AI integration, has been officially approved by the government.
