Sikh Families Took Refuge in Homes of RSS Swayamsewaks, Says PM Modi at RSS 100th Anniversary News:  At the centenary celebrations of RSS today, PM Narendra Modi while addressing a gathering, stated, "In 1984, during the Sikh massacre, so many Sikh families took refuge in the homes of RSS Swayamsewaks. This is the nature of the swayamsewaks.”

He added that the former President Pranab Mukherjee was greatly influenced by the ‘simplicity and dedication of the RSS, when he visited Nagpur’.

RSS Swayamsewaks First to reach and provide aid During Rain-related devastation in Punjab, and some Mountain States:

He stated that during the 2025 Punjab floods, which affected over 2,300 villages across Punjab, and floods and landslides in some mountain states, RSS ‘swayamsewaks’ were the first to reach and provide aid.

“During the floods of Punjab and the tragedies that struck Himachal, Uttarakhand, and Wayanad, swayamsewaks were the first to reach and provide aid. The world saw the courage and service of the RSS during the COVID pandemic,” PM Modi said.
