Punjab Government Creates 45,560 Jobs for Youth in Just Two and a Half Years
Mann stated that the state government promptly fills vacancies as they arise in each department.
Punjab News: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's administration has achieved a significant milestone by providing 45,560 government jobs to the youth of Punjab in just two and a half years. He described this accomplishment as a historic step that will transform the lives of young people in the state.
The Chief Minister emphasized that previous governments had overlooked the needs of the youth, leaving many government positions mired in legal disputes. In contrast, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has filled these roles efficiently, with plans for even more job opportunities in the near future.
Mann stated that the state government promptly fills vacancies as they arise in each department. He highlighted the transparent recruitment process in place, noting that not a single appointment out of the 45,560 made has been challenged in court. This is a source of pride for the Punjab government, as these positions have been filled solely based on merit.
On September 7, Chief Minister Mann distributed appointment letters to 293 young men and women from various departments at the Municipal Bhavan in Chandigarh. He expressed his satisfaction that candidates from ordinary families, who once lost hope of securing government jobs, are now gaining employment without the need for bribes or recommendations.
Mann also urged the youth not to leave the country, stating that there are ample employment opportunities available domestically for those qualified. He encouraged young people to consider traveling abroad for leisure instead.
