According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, Punjab is expected to have clear weather on August 1, with an increase in the maximum temperature. However, from August 2 onwards, a change in weather patterns is anticipated.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Punjab as a result of the reactivation of the Western Disturbance during the monsoon season. Heavy rain is likely to persist until August 4, raising concerns for farmers. Several districts in Punjab are currently in the process of replanting paddy. In case of heavy rainfall and waterlogging, farmers may face difficulties. Nevertheless, light to moderate rain may not cause significant damage to the crops. The authorities are closely monitoring the situation and advising residents and farmers to exercise caution during the forecasted period of heavy rain.
