Lok Sabha elections 2024: Sushil Kumar Rinku, Sheetal Angural join BJP
Earlier, both Sushil Rinku and Sheetal Angural had denied joining the BJP party.
Lok Sabha elections 2024, Sushil Kumar Rinku, Sheetal Angural join BJP: In a major blow to the Aam Aadmi Party ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Jalandhar MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and Jalandhar West MLA Sheetal Angural on Wednesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Earlier, Sushil Kumar Rinku and Sheetal Angural had denied the rumours of joining the BJP party.
It may be recalled that Sushil Rinku had, last month, released a video of the same in which he had said that he had visited the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya before "the new beginning".
After the Aam Aadmi Party announced him as the candidate from Jalandhar for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the people assumed that the new beginnings were the announcement of candidature from the AAP party. However, it now seems the new beginning was the new inning from the BJP battalion.
On the other hand, Sheetal Angural, who announced his resignation on his Facebook post, strongly refuted the claims of joining the BJP party by saying, "I belong to Aam Aadmi Party and will continue to be in the same."
