CONFIRMED! Amritpal Singh to contest Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from Punjab's Khadur Sahib

Amritpal Singh to Contest Lok Sabha Elections 2024: In a major turn of events, the mother of Amritpal Singh has confirmed that the founder of Waris Punjab De would be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from Punjab's Khadur Sahib as an independent candidate. Currently, he is lodged in Dibrugarh jail under the NSA act.

According to the information, Amritpal Singh's mother has confirmed the same. Earlier, Amritpal Singh's lawyer had announced that he would contest from Khadur Sahib.

This might change the dynamics at Khadur Sahib where the Aam Aadmi Party has deployed Laljit Singh Bhullar as their candidate from Khadoor Sahib while the Bharatiya Janta Party has announced Manjit Singh Manna and Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) has announced Harpal Singh Baler.

It may be recalled that Amritpal Singh was arrested, last year, after a mega chase against him by the police. Currently, he is in the Dibrugarh Jail.
