Who is Surat MP Mukesh Dalal? In a major development, the Surat District Collector on Monday gave the Member of Parliament (MP) certificate to BJP's Mukesh Dalal, who has been elected unopposed from the Surat Lok Sabha seat after all other candidates withdrew from the fray.
Who is Surat MP Mukesh Dalal?
Mukesh Dalal is the Surat City BJP general secretary and SDCA committee member. He has also served as a former Standing Committee Chairman of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC). Likewise, he had previously worked at the State level in Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and was the city executive member, a 3-term councilor in SMC, 5-term standing committee chairman.
Mukesh Dalal belongs to the Modh Vanik community. He holds the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce and LLB, and MBA (Finance).

This has opened the account for the BJP party ahead of the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Notably, Gujarat is set to go for polling on May 7, 2024, in the third phase of elections.
Earlier on April 19, 101 states voted in the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 while 89 states will now vote on April 26 during the second phase of elections 2024.
It is pertinent to mention that there will be a total of seven phases in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 while the results will be out on June 4, 2025.
