Surprise! 2 weeks after pledging support to Sukhpal Khaira, Dalvir Singh Goldy joins AAP

Punjab Lok Sabha Elections 2024 News: Two weeks after pledging support to Sukhpal Singh Khaira, Dhuri’s former Congress legislator Dalvir Singh Goldy joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday.

It came as a big setback to the Congress party as just recently, senior leader Ravneet Bittu joined the Bharatiya Janata Party giving a big blow to the Congress party.

It may be recalled that Dalvir Singh Goldy had initially expressed disappointment after he didn't receive a ticket from Sangrur despite being promised. Later, Sukhpal Khaira visited his residence where Goldy seemed to have been convinced and even announced full support to Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

However, the tables turned when Goldy Brar decided to part ways to join Aam Aadmi Party. In the meanwhile, he was welcomed by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Prior to Dalvir Singh Goldy's joining AAP, Sukhpal Singh Khaira called him 'double-faced' and said that he betrayed him.
