Where the President Kovind’s swearing-in is being proclaimed as the beginning of an era of social inclusion, the swearing in ceremony itself showcased how power of politics breeds policy of exclusion. While breaking away from the opposition CM Nitish Kumar by supporting NDA in the president polls, guaranteed himself a seat amongst the front rows along with the political big wigs, the representative of the Aam Aadmi of Delhi, CM Arvind Kejriwal was not even allowed a chair. Although he reached the venue fifteen minutes ahead of schedule, he was forced to sit at the end on the benches. As Arvind Kejriwal was being ushered to the back bench , most of the BJP CM”s like Vasundra Raje
Did not even greet him. Cm Kejriwal was finally rescued from the back benches by the TMC Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien who took him to sit with the TMC supremo Mamta Banerjee. CM Kejriwal sat with The TMC Mp’s till the end. None of four MP’s from AAP attended the swearing-in ceremony.
