Chandigarh: President Ram Nath Kovind today arrived here to attend the golden
jubilee celebrations of the MCM DAV College for Women to be held on
Wednesday.
This is President Kovind's maiden visit to
the Union Territory after assuming office last year. He arrived here
this afternoon, officials said, adding that he is staying at the Punjab
Raj Bhawan.
