Though the Indians have been contributing their efforts in the US economy but still they are facing racial attacks. In a recent incident, a 20 year old boy from Mohali, Simranjit Singh was shot dead at Sacramanto in US.

He was the only son of his parents and went to US last year to his sister who is settled in Sacramanto. He was working at a Gas station. On July 26, few unidentified persons around 11 PM purchases goods from the store located at Gas station and they started drinking liquor in the parking.

The employees stopped them to drink in the parking but the accused manhandled one of the employees. The victim immediately ran into the shop and Simranjit Singh stepped out from the shop to see the persons.

When Simranjit came out from the store, the unidentified persons opened fire and he died on the spot. The racial attacks in US on Indians especially Sikhs are going on and the innocent Sikhs losing their lives because of the racial discrimination.

Subag Singh, a 68 year old found dead in a canal after he went missing in the morning of June 23. He was residing in California and was missing since June 23. His body had injuries and the police didn’t rule out foul play in Subag Singh’s death.

Indians settled in US has been contributed a lot in different spheres. Despite, the racial attacks on Indians are rising in US. The majority of the attackers caught by the police have revealed that they don’t want outsiders to stay in the US.

Racial discrimination is still there in US as the anti social elements want to send out the Asians especially the Indians from their country.

In April, A 26-year-old Indian man shot dead by two masked armed robbers at a convenience store of a gas station in the US’ Washington state.

In March, a 39-year-old Sikh man was shot in the arm outside his home in Kent, Washington, by a partially-masked gunman who shouted "go back to your own country".

In February, a 32-year-old Indian engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla was killed when a US Navy veteran opened fire at him and his friend Alok Madasani, yelling "get out of my country".

The regime of Trump has been making tall claims that the authorities have been strictly dealing with such narrow minded forces. But, there are no signs visible in the US which could show that the racial discrimination is not prevailing in US.
