Four Maoist couriers arrested in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Four alleged Maoist couriers, belonging to Telangana, were arrested in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district today, police said.

They were allegedly carrying materials used in making explosives for rebels when they were intercepted and arrested, a police officail said.

Based on a specific input, the four, who were travelling on three motorcycles and an autorickshaw with explosive-making materials, were nabbed near a school under Maraiguda police station limits, around 500km from here, Sukma Additional Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla told PTI.
