Chandigarh: The Adhar card will help the authorities to trace the missing people in future. With the help of the Unique Identification the police would also track the missing people and criminals. A 14 year old boy Lovepreet Singh ran away from home two years ago but he is back with his family now just because of his Adhar card.
Lovepreet went to Himachal Pradesh and the government authorities caught him. He was sent to Punjab later. The authorities at the Children home in Gurdaspur wanted to get his Aadhar card made but the authorities discovered that he had already enrolled with a Maur address in Bathinda.
It was the thumb impression of Lovepreet that revealed his identity. Finally, he is back to his family in Bathinda.
The Adhar card record helped the authorities to know the real identity of the missing Lovepreet. An official working in Adhar card office, Chandigarh told Rozana Spokesman that the thumb impression would help us the authorities to track the missing person. The Central Government has been working hard to get the registration of every citizen under Adhar card scheme.
Even the government had been stressing to link the Adhar Card details with all the official documents including PAN no, bank account no and mobile no.
In Tamil Nadu, the authorities have made it mandatory to get enroll the new borns with Adhar card. The officials of the concerned department have been visiting the people door to door and they are enrolling them in Adhar.
Even the camps have been set up in the localities so that the people could not face any problem while enrolling Adhar.
In countries like United States the Unique Identification Number is implemented since long time. The US police have tracked number of case of missing people with the UID number system.
In India, Adhar would be completely helpful in tracing the missing people wanted in criminal cases. Even the bad loan defaulters who are absconding would be caught with the help of the Adhar record.
