In a historic feat, India soared to new heights in space exploration with the success of Chandrayaan-3. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) propelled India to become the first country to reach the South Pole of the Moon. Launched on July 14, 2023, from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Chandrayaan-3 marked India's proud entry into the elite league of nations successfully landing on the moon, alongside the United States, Russia, and China.

Fastest 5G Rollout 

Union Communications, Railways, and Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, along with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, inaugurated the 2,00,000th 5G site in Gangotri, Uttarakhand. India set a world record for the fastest 5G rollout, installing one site every minute across 700 districts in just 8 months. This technological stride underscores India's commitment to staying at the forefront of digital innovation.

Fastest Economic Growth

Additionally, India has outpaced major economies globally, securing its position as the fastest-growing economy. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted India's remarkable second-quarter growth, surpassing other nations and maintaining momentum as an economic powerhouse.

India Tops in Digital Payments

The prowess of India's digital landscape was further validated as the country led the world in digital payments for the year 2023. A staggering 89.5 million digital payments were recorded, showcasing India's robust and expanding digital financial ecosystem.

World's Biggest Plane Deal

The Tata Group-owned Air India secured a historic deal by signing agreements with France's Airbus and American aircraft manufacturer Boeing to acquire 470 passenger jets. This monumental deal solidified India's global standing in the aviation sector and marked the largest commercial aircraft deal worldwide.

Records Set in the Asian Games

India showcased its sporting prowess at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8. Indian athletes made history by clinching a total of 107 medals, setting a new record in the Asian Games and bringing pride to the nation.
