Train Derailment Today, Howrah Mumbai Express train in Jharkhand derail latest news: In a shocking incident, 2 people died while 20 others were injured after a Howrah-Mumbai passenger train derailed in the early hours of Tuesday at around 3:43 am near Jharkhand's Charadharpur division, between Rajkharswan West Outer and Barabamboo.
As per the initial information, 18 coaches of the train were derailed out of which 16 were passenger coaches, one power car and one pantry car, reported PTI.
The railway officials stated that the incident took place after a goods train coming from the opposite side derailed and impacted the passenger train passing by from the opposite side.

On the other hand, all the passengers were being taken to Chakradharpur by bus.
This month several incidents of train derailments have been reported this month. On July 18, as many as four people were killed, while around 20 were injured after several bogies of the Dibrugarh Express derailed in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda. A few days later, a goods train derailed near Amroha railway station which disrupted the Delhi-Lucknow rail line. Fortunately, no loss of life or injuries were reported.
