Unnao rape case: The Security outside the Supreme Court of India has been tightened as a three-judge vacation bench led by Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant, will hear the Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI's plea challenging the Delhi High Court's decision against suspension of 2017 Unnao rape convict and expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar's life sentence today.

 

Kuldeep Sengar's daughter and advocate, Aiswarya Sengar, has arrived at the Supreme Court.

Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s counsel and advocate Shashi Tripathi, ahead of the hearing, speaking to news agency PTI, said, “We should have faith in the legal system. We have a good legal system."
