New Delhi: Rajya Sabha member Kapil Sibal on Saturday criticized Wrestling Federation of India President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing allegations of sexual harassment by seven women wrestlers, saying he has no conscience.

Senior advocate Sibal is a lawyer for wrestlers in the Supreme Court. Taking to Twitter, Kapil Sibal wrote, "Wrestler Protest: Electricity & Water cut off But They will wrestle and succeed. While The accused has no conscience to wrestle with !"

Amid growing support for  the protesting wrestlers, the Delhi Police on Friday registered two FIRs against Brij Bhushan in connection with sexual harassment allegations leveled by seven women wrestlers. The first FIR was registered on the charges of a minor wrestler under the POCSO Act while the second related to outraging the modesty.
