New Delhi: Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia till May 8 in the Excise Policy Case and ED Case.

Coming out of the court after the hearing, AAP leader and former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia said, "No matter how hard Modi ji tries, he will not be able to stop Kejriwal's work in Delhi. Delhi will continue to develop”.

On April 28, the court refused to grant bail to former Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia in the ED case. Along with this, Sisodia's lawyer Dayan Krishnan has said that he will appeal against this decision of the court in the High Court. On April 27, the court had extended Sisodia's custody till May 12 in the CBI case.
