HM Amit Shah To Chair BJP's Core Committee Meeting In Guwahati, Assam Latest News: Union Home Minister Amit on Thursday evening left for Assam on a two-day visit. HM Amit Shah is scheduled to chair the BJP's core committee meeting in Guwahati. He will also initiate the National Cyber Forensic Laboratory to bolster cybersecurity in the region, along with various other projects.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a post on X, said, "Leaving for Assam on a two-day tour. Today, will chair the BJP's core committee meeting in Guwahati. In the morning, tomorrow will initiate the National Cyber Forensic Laboratory to bolster cyber security in the region along with various other projects.”

NDA Panchayat Pratinidhi Sammelan will also be held in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah tomorrow.

“Later in the day will address the 'NDA Panchayat Pratinidhi Sammelan' and the Birth Centenary Celebration of former CM Golap Borbora Ji. Eager to meet the enthusiastic people of Assam,” the Home Minister’s post further read.

Assam Panchayat & Rural Development Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass told the media that CM, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, and other senior leaders will be present during the NDA Panchayat Pratinidhi Sammelan.

Home Minister Amit Shah will also inaugurate the new Raj Bhavan in the state.

Meanwhile Assam is all set to welcome the Home Minister. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma earlier today reviewed arrangements at Khanapara.

"Assam is all geared up to welcome Adarniya Shri @AmitShah ji in sometime from now. Reviewed arrangements at Khanapara a while back,” Sarma said in a post on X.

“Assam looks forward to welcome you Adarniya Griha Mantri Shri @AmitShah ji. Your guidance has helped Assam chart new territories in peace and development and we are confident that this visit of yours will further strengthen our resolve to serve the people” Sarma said in a separate post.
