India Blocks 16 Pakistani YouTube Channels for Spreading Misinformation After Pahalgam Attack

India-Pakistan Latest News Today, Pakistani YouTube Channels Blocked in India: In a decisive move, India has banned 16 Pakistan-based YouTube channels accused of spreading communally sensitive misinformation following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack.

The action was taken on the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, just days after 26 civilians were killed during the brutal assault near Baisaran meadow in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination.

This attack, one of the deadliest since the 2019 Pulwama bombing, has prompted heightened security measures in the region. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), led by senior officials including an IG, DIG, and SP, has been stationed at the site since April 23, intensifying its probe by questioning eyewitnesses and collecting forensic evidence.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army has launched extensive search operations to track down and eliminate the terrorists responsible. The country has witnessed widespread protests, with citizens demanding tougher action against Pakistan in the wake of the attack.
