Hot weather conditions prevailed in most parts of the region, with Hisar and Narnaul registering maximum temperature

Hot weather conditions prevail

Chandigarh: Hot weather conditions prevailed in most parts of the region, with Hisar and Narnaul registering maximum temperature at 42 and 43.8 degrees Celsius.

Narnaul in Haryana was hotter by four notches against normal limits, while Bhiwani and Karnal experienced a hot day recording maximum temperatures at 40.8 and 37 degrees Celsius respectively, a Meteorological Department official said here.

Hot Weather Conditions

Chandigarh, the common capital of Haryana and Punjab, too had a hot day at 37.6 degrees Celsius. In Punjab, Patiala, Ludhiana and Amritsar recorded high of 39.6, 39.7 and 39.5 degrees Celsius respectively.

The MeT department has forecast light rain or thundershowers at isolated places for the next two days in both the states.
